For many people, the idea of going on dates and meeting new people after a certain age or amount of life experience is a somewhat daunting task. This demographic is just one of the targeted groups that an online dating site is looking to impress upon. These folks might be divorced and entering the singles scene after a long time of being away from it, and sometimes they need a little extra incentive to get the hang of it all again.
Dating websites operate in the interest of not only making some money and starting a successful business, but also in the interest of helping shy people get past some of their reservations. Although not everyone who uses a website to meet potential soul mates is a shy person, some of the people who are using such websites are looking for a buffer zone between themselves and the people they will meet. In order to not let this buffer zone destroy one’s chances of actually meeting someone special, an online dating site has got to be used to its fullest potential.
The websites that cater to people looking for dates offer different types of services as part of their website package. All of these websites encourage singles to post a profile on their website so that people can find them based on their vital information and interests. Of course, the pictures that you place on your profile are also subject to being used as criteria to either date you or to not date you. However, the profile is not the only service provided by these websites. A good online dating site will allow for different opportunities for contacting other members.
While some websites only allow you to post a profile without paying for membership, some companies will allow you to send automatic messages to other users. This type of message has to be chosen from a list of messages and can not differ from the pre-scripted text of the message. What this means is that the users can establish interest in someone, but they are not able to contact them without paying for membership.
An online dating site will tell you what is included in the membership, and what is included for free, before you purchase membership to the website. If you are only looking to gain confidence from all those smiles and winks, there is no need for you to purchase membership. However, if you are actually looking to make contact with real people, the ones behind the profiles, you often have to pay for membership to the website.
Once you have paid for membership, you should take advantage of all of the services that the website offers you. A unique new service to check out is Meet Amour, where you can not only create a profile, but also contact great singles and potentially meet someone new. Meet Amour charges some of the lowest membership prices as far as the typical dating scene goes, but offers all of the same contact opportunities, from winks to live chat and IM. Visit http://www.meetamour.com to find out more about the various services and to start searching for the next love of your life. After months of scouring the internet, I could not put my hands on the 2 million links various search engines said were available to do my book promotions. First, let me say I perceive myself as an intermediate user of the internet, but maybe my perception was misguided as I searched and realized I couldnât put my pointer on the links I wanted.
The promotion of my book began with submitting a press release (PR) to one of the major PR services on the internet. They tracked how many click through(s) received, and I began to think, if so many eyes are looking at the PR on this site and web crawlers (whatever those are?) are picking up the PR for other sites; what would limit me from submitting as many PRs as possible? This was not the only site that provided this wonderful FREE service and the more places I had the PR, the greater my chances of being picked up by âbigâ media. My imagination began to go wild, conjuring up that lone journalist who was itching to break the story on the next bestseller. You chuckle! With this PR service, I placed the needle in the haystack but I could improve my chances if many needles were placed. A technique I learned from my days of online sweeping. What is that you ask? If allowed, the more you entered a particular sweepstakes the better your chances of winning as was one manâs story where he would send out literally thousands of entries and had won valuable prizes. My odds with sweeping were not stellar but I do have a few trinkets to show for my limited efforts. Hopefully, with my quadrupled book promotion efforts I could have stellar resultsâdreaming again. <b>Tip 1:</b> There are auto-fill internet form software available and some even designate a few empty fields for your own personal use. A lifesaver when you have to input the PR summary line more than a few times. <b>Tip 2: </b>Donât input your social security number and credit card information because I have read of mistakes made because of the ease of auto-fill.
Okay, I have deviated. So I proceed to use my internet service provider and searched for âsubmit press releaseâ and was in heaven when it responded with 2 million sites to upload my PR. I would spend hours <a href=”http://maverick-money-club.com/myreview.html” target=”_blank” style=”text decoration:none;”>reviewing</a> which sites were free; which maybe more receptive; and which needed me to tweak the PR. Then just as quickly, my dream was shattered. I couldnât go any further than 250 links, Why canât I see or go to the other sites? I contacted my internet service provider to complain and they âallegedlyâ helped me to fix the browser. That didnât work, so I moved on to the next major internet service provider, and again was limited to how many links I could access.
This time, I levied a stiff complaint about the violation of the freedom of information act, which I think only pertains to government (real smart). Why am I not allowed to access all 2 million-search results containing âsubmit press releaseâ? It is only right that we have access to all the information on the internet, and not limited by how much or what we can see. Worst of all, we aren’t able to refresh the search and to be presented with other links we have not viewed. I assume, businesses with an internet presence would perceive themselves as having access to the world, where millions are able to view their products and or services, and as a result, their livelihoods would be betterâmeeting of the minds was just not taking place. And in this world of legalese, SPAM laws limit those who are promoting on meager budgets, and the few legal options we have of putting our product in the market place via the internet; where websites are actually telling us to submit information, our browsers (or internet service providers) are denying us access.
I continued checking the top search engines and kept encountering the same problems. What was most irritating about the search, besides the same links coming up, a few sites would fill several pages of the results with multiple categories. Do these websites have a monopoly on my already limited internet search? It was infuriating, the process was tedious, and now I was livid. Convinced my internet was broken, I was on a mission to fix it. I had another great idea, it was my browser (whatever that is?) that needed fixing and found a website that offered free software to do the job. I was nervous; I could be opening up myself to a can of worms, my husband would kill me for infecting HIS system. With all the scare of viruses and spy ware, I decided to only download what I thought were reputable software and ended up back at the number one software company. Based on their computer evaluation I already had the most updated browser. I was relieved, 1) I didnât have to download anything, and 2) the browser was working.
What was the fix? I continued my search efforts, going down the list of internet service providers. Alas! I think itâ

With the proliferation of goods and services now available on the Internet, advertisers look to individuals and companies to help sell their products by utilizing webmasters and others to spread the word.
This can be in the form of banner advertising on affiliate sites, text links, reviews written by affiliates, direct email etc. The advertisers compensate webmasters by paying them for displaying the ads, or for click throughs sent to them, or (as is most common these days) a commission on sales resulting as a referral from their web site or for more details visit to www.affiliate-manager-pro.com email message. For a more detailed look at the getting involved with affiliate programs, view the learning resources and tutorial links at the end of this article. Recommended affiliate management software Used and recommended by Michael – Post Affiliate Pro. Special price: $149 only $99! Amazing range of features, quick and easy to implement! Read my review How can I make money from being an affiliate?
There are many thousands of affiliate programs out there, all claiming to be the best. Some of them will give you the impression that all you have to do is implement their banners and links and wait for the commission checks to start rolling in. This CAN be the case, for more details visit to www.affiliate-manager-pro.com but this scenario usually only applies to very large sites with massive web traffic that is relevant to product or service on offer. For most of us, being a successful affiliate requires a little more work!
As the range of goods and online services offered via the Internet has grown at an incredible rate over the last few years, therefore so has the competition. Web site visitors need to have a very good reason for clicking on a link or banner. Choosing the right banners
In most affiliate programs, you are offered a wide variety of banners to place on your site – very few of them will be effective. If you can attain a click through rate of 2%, then you are doing very well. It has been our experience, and this is generally speaking, that graphically rich banners do not perform as successfully as their simpler counterparts. The main reason for this is download time. If a banner is the last thing to load on your page and the banner ad is excessively byte “heavy”, by the time it has loaded your visitor may already have scrolled down the page – missing it entirely. Heavy banner ads can also slow down the loading of your pages, or critical elements of your page and you can lose your visitors altogether! A graphically rich banner can also confuse the actual message – the artwork and marketing blurb can be imbalanced. For these reasons, we suggest that banners you implement be no more that 15kb wherever possible.
Banners that have “extreme” animation, such as rapid flashing, are also something to consider very carefully. While these do achieve high clickthrough rates, they are also highly annoying. If you do decide to implement this form of banner advertising, use it very sparingly.
When selecting any form of graphical advertising, try and keep the theme of your site in mind – while graphical ads are meant to stand out and catch a visitors eye, it shouldn’t be to the point that everything else on the page is totally ignored. Wherever possible, ensure that all banner ads (and any advertising for that matter) uses a link that opens in a new window. That way, if a visitor does choose to visit one of your advertisers it is easy for them to return to your page and review what they actually came to your site for! Pop ups and pop unders
Many companies, but mostly agencies representing a number of advertisers, now give their affiliates the options of using pop up and pop under ads. Our opinion – pop ups are evil. They annoy visitors and are usually closed before they even have a chance to load. Go for pop-unders and preferably those that only display once per visit. See below for further articles on this subject. Using Text Link Ads.
One of the most successful forms of advertising are text link ads. They are bandwidth friendly, don’t take up a lot of space and can be easily implemented into most page layouts. Good text links ads don’t just scream “buy me!”, they also offer some information as to why your web site visitor should investigate the offer. A company should also supply you with very short text links which only state the product or company name. The reason for this is so that you can implement the links directly into the content of related articles and reviews. Articles and product/service reviews
Now, this is where a bit of hard work comes in. Your regular site visitors will view you as an authority on particular subjects, so why not write a review on a product or service you are advertising? This also supplies excellent content for search engine spiders to latch onto. We have attracted many visitors to our site using what I call “adarticles”. But there’s a catch……
If you are going to use the adarticle concept to promote products, you need to believe in what you write. Research the product and company well. Contact the company and let them know what you are doing and ask for further resources and assistance. Once you have created the review, send them the link – you may be surprised at the response you get.
One of our advertisers was so impressed with the effort we put into promoting his company’s product that he gave us an extra 15% commission on each sale! This form of web site advertising is a bit time-consuming, so choose your products carefully. The information that you supply to your web site visitors will help them formulate a decision, so be honest in your sales copy. If you are successful in this promotion strategy, over time your reviews won’t be seen as hype and bluster, but as a reliable source of information – everybody wins! Email advertising as an affiliate marketing tool
Direct promotion via email has boomed over recent years, but has brought with it mountains of spam. If you intend on using email as a method of advertising products and services, ensure you stand behind the products you’re promoting and make yourself available to answer any questions.
An effective promotion technique we have found is to combine email with the adarticle strategy. In our ezine we occasionally put a summary of a product or service, just enough information to stir the curiosity of our readers. The summary then contains a link to the adarticle on our site. The benefit of this is not only that you have a good opportunity to promote the product or service, but while visitors are on your site they may also look at other sections. The advertiser benefits through having highly targeted potential clients visit their site.

With a soothing mixture of contemporary instrumentals, along with an array of upbeat music “The Golden Shadows of Christmas” CD can be enjoyed as background ambience while the turkey or ham is roasting Thanksgiving morning…while trimming the tree and stringing the lights…while the family is unwrapping presents on Christmas Day…or celebrating this New Years Eve, December 31st!
Holidays are coming and we’re getting ready for Christmas and the New Year. We choose presents and postcards. If you’re dating Online it’s more difficult to send a suitable gift for your sweetheart. The reasons are multiple: distance, incomplete knowledge of likes, communication difficulty and so on.
The simpliest thing is to send an e-card. It’s easy to find a lot of thematic postcards online and send them free of charge. It’s true if you have an email address of your beloved, otherwise you won’t be able to do anything but send a siple email or chat.
You can contact Dating Site administrator and request sending a certain greeting card. At some Dating Sites there are birthday alerts and you’re sure to know about the upcoming events.
It’s great if a Dating Site has a mini market- a Gift Shop. In this case you can choose the gift and submit your request to Site admin. And it’s much more easier then searching the Net and contacting administrator with requests.
If you’re a Dating Site Owner you should think this over and do something to make this process more pleasant and convenient for both the sides. To do it, just place yourself into your members shoes and you’ll see your the difficulties they have with congratulations. Besides, you should combine two aspects – usability and security. Means that your users should be able to choose a present and send to any user without knowing the e-mail address. Seems like unreal.
But if the admin knows the email, then he can become a connecting element between his users as he can be trusted. You can also think on the technical side of your Dating Software and try to add some new features to it. In this case you’ll need a very flexible software with a source code to be able to modify it or to order a custom work from your software vendor company.
And at last, some of your users do not see such an opportunity of giving presents online and you should make them think it over. You can use banners and text messages, Holiday newsletters and polls. All the tools that you have in your Dating Software can be used to answer your needs and to please your members. You just have to start! Just try it! Good luck!

Leads are the life blood of any business. It doesn’t matter if you conduct business online or offline, high-tech or low-tech. If you want to stay in business, you have to make sales. And if you want to make sales, you need to be generating a steady flow of leads.
This article is going to show you EXACTLY how I generate an average of more than 200 leads each and every month.
The first step, of course, is to set up your AutoResponder. Your AutoResponder is the backbone to any lead generation and email marketing campaign.
Your AutoResponder can be as simple as setting up a single message that introduces your prospects to your company, lets them know what you have to offer, and invites them to your web site for more details (and to place an order).
Or you can set up a series of follow up messages that are scheduled to go out daily, weekly, monthly, etc… depending on your preferences and what your market is expecting.
Your letters don’t have to be perfect. They just need to be clear and ready to be sent out. You can (and should) make adjustments along the way.
Once your AutoResponder is set up with at least one message, then it’s time to start the work of promoting to attract visitors to your offer.
So here are the exact steps I take to generate a constant steady flow of leads for my offers:
1. I set up my AutoResponder with my follow up letters.
2. I set up my blog (Free).
3. Since my AutoResponder service offers free hosted capture pages, I also set up my hosted capture pages.
4. I set up my AutoResponder subscription forms and added them to:
My capture pages My own web site My blog
5. I set up Banner Ads and point them to a site with a subscription form such as my blog, my web site, or my capture page.
6. I set up my FFA Page Ad to send out an ad about my free report. When they click the link in that ad, they are taken to one of my capture pages.
7. I set up social networking accounts on sites like twitter.com, myspace.com, and facebook.com (Free).
8. I set up an author account at my two favorite article directories: (Free).
9. I make sure my Email Signature file has a link to either my web site, my hosted capture page, or my blog. (Free).
10. I join relevant discussion forums. A quick search on Google for forums related to your market or niche should give you a considerable list to start with. (Free).
11. I set up an AdWords account at Google.
So Why Do I Set Up All These Things and How Do I Generate Leads With Them?
My AutoResponder This is the control center for all of your lead generation and contact management. This is where you will manage your leads. This is also where you will create, manage, and edit your follow up messages, broadcasts, etc…
My Blog Blogging isn’t as scary as some people would like you to think it is. Think of your blog as your public journal where you can share your thoughts, experiences, updates, background, etc… Like social network sites, think of your blog as a place online where you are throwing a little ‘get together’ for your friends and associates. The attitude of your posts should be light, informative, entertaining, and relevant to what your business is about.
Personally, I use my blog to update associates and followers on what I’m doing to generate leads, how business is going, any new techniques or developments we’ve come up with, etc…
Notice that I’ve added a subscription form to my blog. As people read my posts, my hope is that they will want to know more and will fill out the form to request information.
Subscription Forms Your AutoResponder isn’t going to do you any good if people don’t know how to request information. This is what your subscription forms are for and you want to make sure they are on every point of contact you have online.
Be sure you have added forms to your own web site, your blog, etc… Be sure you have created Hosted Capture Forms.
The Machine is (Changing) Us: YouTube and the Politics of Authenticity
Banner Ads I set up a few banners and point them back to my web site with the capture forms. The Banner Ads offer a free report or benefit and invite prospects to visit and request more information. I don’t really have to do anything with the banner ads once they are set up and this little auto-pilot tool typically brings me anywhere from 5 to 12 new leads each month.
FFA Page I’ve been pretty clear that FFA Page leads aren’t for everyone. In my case, they work out well because most of these leads are people that want to sell something and I offer tools to help them market more effectively. The best part is that I just set the silly thing up and let it run. I get anywhere from 10 to 20 new leads a month from this option. I might check on it every couple of months to see if the responses are still consistent and make any changes that I think may be helpful.
Social Networking This is, quite honestly, a new venture for me. I’m on twitter, MySpace, and Facebook. Like blogging, I think of these sites as little social gatherings (online parties). They can be fun and entertaining. I keep up with friends and associates and, in general, just make sure I make regular appearances to keep everyone updated.
NOTE: There is a little bit of an “art” to working blogs and social networking sites. Don’t be one of those people that shows up at the party and says, “Hey! Wanna buy my stuff?”. Take some time to build rapport. Get to know other participants in your networks. Participate in some of the conversations. Let people get to know you. As your network begins to learn about you, the time will come when someone is thinking, “Hey … I need to find someone that can …… ” and that is when they think of you.
For example: Let’s say you sell pink widget gizmos. As you’re getting to know people in your networks, your profile states that you are the premier supplier for pink widget gizmos. You conduct yourself in a responsible and professional manner on the various networks you are a part of. People start to like and trust you. Someone asks, “Hey… do you know where I can get some really good pink widget gizmos?” and they or their other friends in their network will remember that YOU are the go-to person for pink widget gizmos.
Article Marketing Going back to our pink widget gizmos story, because you know something about them, I bet it’s a safe bet to say that you could probably write a few articles about them. Article marketing is a great way to:
* Establish your credibility as an expert in your field.
* Get free publicity.
* Get free back links to your web site.
If you are not comfortable writing just yet, do a quick search for “ghost writers” on any major search directory.
Make a point of creating and submitting articles regularly.
Not sure if article marketing works? You’re reading some of my article marketing, right now.
Email Signature File Just about every email program I’m aware of has an Email Signature option. This is where you can create a bit of text that will automatically appear at the bottom of any email you send. This should include your name, a one line pitch about your offer, and a link to your blog, web site, or capture page. Every time you send out email, reply to an email, etc… your little signature file is there helping to identify you as an expert in your field.
Discussion Forums Every industry has its own discussion forums. They can be a great way to get information, tips, and updates on changes within your industry. I highly recommend joining a few of the more active forums for a few reasons:
* You can learn new things. * You can share some of your own knowledge and experience. * The Signature. Every discussion forum I participate in allows you to create a signature. Like your Email Signature, this is a few lines of text that will always appear at the bottom of any message you post in the forum.
A few tips on making the most of your discussion forum experience:
Back to the “online party” concept. Imagine being in a room of your peers and/or people interested in your industry. Don’t be the doofus that walks in to the room and yells out, “Hey! Wanna buy my stuff?”. Take time to build your credibility and let people get to know you. Participate in some relevant discussions. Offer insights and your own input.
Don’t just reply with things like, “Good post” or “I agree”. These are just blatant attempts to get your Signature seen and will cause people to quickly begin ignoring your posts or may even cause the Administrator to block you from accessing the forums.
Take your time. Get to know the forums. Let the other members get to know you. Be patient and establish yourself as a credible and professional expert. That’s when the leads start coming to you!
Google AdWords Google AdWords could easily become an entire lesson in and of itself. But let me just say this: A Google AdWords account is well worth taking the time to learn and use. I don’t bid high dollars for very popular words. Instead, I look for words that are not as popular and can be head for much less than my competitors might spend on popular words. This is called “long tail keywords” and can be very profitable.
Google has some excellent tutorials on their systems and I encourage you to become a student of the Google AdWords system. Then start with a small budget to test your results. As you begin to see solid results, you can use the money from your new sales to increase your budget over time.
Summary
These resources combined with consistent management and running various ads here and there have consistently generate 200+ leads every single month for me. And these are highly targeted and responsive leads.
Don’t be overwhelmed if you are new to any or all of these techniques. Take one at a time and learn it. When you are comfortable with that one, add the next technique. The key is to be consistent and to make sure you take some action each and every day.

Certain information is needed in order to know how to lock text messages. Information such as the make and model of your phone as well as what you hope to accomplish by “locking your text messages”.
However, in any event I can help you through it provided that you are using a Motorola phone. To do it, you simply select the message you want to lock, by highlighting it in the list of messages. Then you can press your ‘menu/function’ button and there should be the option to lock/unlock the message. Simply select the feature and the message should be locked.
The thing is that by locking the message, it only means that it cannot be changed/modified or deleted. It doesn’t mean that it will be locked with a password or something like that. So if that is what you were going for then you would have to use another form of locking.
Keep in mind that we are dealing with Motorola phones here and the instructions that I just gave you above are generic enough to work with most handsets.
Is it possible to text to a person in another country who has their service and not the United States phone service? You will need to register with an online service. Since America uses CDMA and a majority of the rest of the world uses GSM the txt must be translated from one type to another. If you go to a website called http://www.ipipi.com/ it will tell you all about it, and you can then register with them. You send your message to IPIPI they translate it and forward it on to the person you intended it for. There is a minimal charge for the service.
In comparing the 3310 to the 6630, it appears that the 6630 Smartphone gives you several options as it relates to SMS messages, where the 3310 did not. With the 6630, it is my understanding that you need to define the Message Centers first, much like you set up addresses in your address book and then when a person you have in your address book calls you, their name is associated.
In order to view the Message Centre of an SMS message, you first have to make sure that the Log is turned on. On Page 26 of the User Manual for the 6630, it shows how to set this up:
- Monitoring all communication events
- Monitor all voice and video calls, text messages, or data connections registered by the phone, press [the ring looking button] and select Log, and press to open the general log. For each communication event, you can see the sender or recipient name, phone number, name, service provider, or access point
-You can filter the general log to view just one type event and create new contact cards based on the log information. Subevents, such as a text message sent in more than one part and packet data connections, are logged as one communication event. Connections to your mailbox, multimedia messaging centre, or Web pages are shown as packet data connections
